Sep 10, 2016 2:52 AM in response to mpreddby leu.alex.v,Hello everyone!
Did anyone eventually got rid of this issue?
I have a 2015 15" MacBook Pro, and the flickering really bothers me. My Apple warranty expires in December and I am concerned if this flickering may be a sign of a flawed motherboard, that is very expensive to replace without warranty.

Sep 10, 2016 4:30 AM in response to leu.alex.vby Jessnesss,Hey, i had a 2015 MBP and took it to the apple store and they replaced the screen (which didn't fix it) and then also the logic board which fixed it. Came to £916, i was 70 days outside the apple warranty however was still in the 2 year consumer law warranty so they fixed it for free. So if i were you i'd get it to apple before the warranty runs out!

Sep 14, 2016 7:20 PM in response to mpreddby SirDonkeyPunch,Hi all,
I had this issue for a while with my 2015 15" retina MBP w/ dual video cards. Resetting the PRAM, updating OSX, clean install of OSX, and other tricks didn't seem to work. The one thing that has worked so far is setting the resolution & scale of the screen to the computer/display's default settings. Go to System Preferences > Displays. Set resolution to "Default for display".
I had the scale on my screen set to show smaller text than the default settings. I noticed with these settings on, I could literally get my screen to flicker by clicking the automatic graphics switching button in the energy saver menu of the system settings on & off. Returning the computer to it's "natural" resolution seems to put less strain on the hardware responsible for transferring the video data between cards and has fixed my problem.
Hopefully this helps!
