Q: Getting rid of pop ups and ads in Google Chrome on MBP

I am starting this new post per instructions given in the following thread:

How do I stop the pop-ups ?

I followed the instructions given by Linc Davis and I am posting the results below. I would like any help on this matter, as I don't really know how to decipher the results. If I do have adware (which I assume I do), please help me to remove it! Thanks!
