Permission Errors

I just bought my wife a brand new iMac 27" Standard Display and we restored from a Time Machine backup of a much older OSX Lion machine. Afterwards, I ran Disk Utility just to see what might need repairing, and got about a hundred file permission errors. The iMac seems to run fine, but it does seem a little slow for the caliber of machine it is. Although the Disk Utility said it repaired most of the errors, all the same errors keep showing up every time I run it.

Should I chalk this up to Disk Utility being just goofy software, or is there something wrong?
