Manage usage
My mail usage is listed at 2 GB on my iPhone. Same issue is on my wife's iPad. How can I clear it to free up more memory?
Thanks, Phil

Delete some email messages.
Yes, I have done that. There must be something that's not as obvious.
I am having the same problem. I've deleted every sent and received email, including mail in the trash folder (which is set to remove after a day), yet the usage/storage for mail continues to grow. It is happening with others in our company to the point that we have to restore the phones every few months due to running out of storage on the phone due to the "Phantom Mail" usage.
