Oki C9650 - Will not print A3

Hi,

I'm trying to print an image on A3 paper in my Oki C9650 Colour Laser Printer. For some reason the print settings will not allow A3 paper to be selected using the the oki printer, however on other printers the settings will allow A3 to be printed. How can I do this? - I have tried to change settings to 'custom' with A3 measurements but this has not worked as when I try to select it, it is greyed out.

Many thanks in advance.

If the printer was created using the Generic Postscript or Generic PCL drivers, then neither of these offer A3 as a paper size. So open Printers & Scanners and select the Oki C9650 in the Printers list. The right pane will show a section labelled Kind and this will show what driver was used when the printer was created. If it is showing either Generic driver instead of the Oki driver, remove this printer and add again, this time ensuring you select the Oki driver in the Use menu.
