Q: What's the best way to remove a scratch or blemish from Apple Watch Sport Aluminum body?

I don't know how it happened but i have a mark, I wouldn't even call it a scratch because its not deep, but clearly something brushed up against the body on my Apple Watch Sport. I've read several methods of removing marks and scratches on macbook pros and backs of iPads including using Meguiars Scratch x 2.0, toothpaste, even sandpaper. I read Meguiars Scratch x 2.0 may remove some of the protective layer on the aluminum. Anyone have any recommendations?

    Hello Charles Disantis,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you have a mark on your Apple Watch and would like information about cleaning it. Before you use any of the methods you mentioned in your question, I would suggest reading over the information in the attached article below that describes how to clean your Apple Watch.

    Hi Joe!

I have a similar problem but my scratch appeared by the bottom strap slot.  I had purchased the blue leather magnetic strap to "dress" up my sport model, but the stainless steel tip on the strap keep scratching the body of my Sport model.

Any further suggests how to reduce the appearance of this blemish?

    Thanks.
