Q: Sharing an album After Initial Share

I find it easy to create and share an album initially.

What I am having trouble finding is how to send an invitation to a second subscriber after the shared album has been created and already shared with the first invitee.

Namely, how to invite new subscribers to share in the album which already exists.

I am sure this is easy, but just can't find the mechanism to do this.

Can anyone point me to the method?

Thanks

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10), + attached 27 inch iMac 2nd screen

See the "Add and remove subscribers to a shared album" section of the Photos help topic Manage subscribers to shared albums for the details, but basically, you use the Collaborate button tool in the toolbar to open the panel where you can add new subscribers & send (or resend) invitations.

It - sort of - does it.  The issue is that its not intuitive and adding additional people requires you to put a space between their names.  If you don't add a space first, you can't add a new name!  The dialog box for adding names needs to be GREATLY improved in Photos.

I don't see what is so non-intuitive about it. You either have to type in an email address, which can't have spaces in it anyway, or part of a name from your address book, which gives you a popup list of matching entries you can choose from. And if you are adding a new subscriber, all you have to do is click in the white space instead of on an existing subscriber's entry.

    Thanks for your comments R-C-R.

However the question I actually had was as being new to Photos, I did not quickly spot the popup menu for sharing.

Of course once that appears, the mechanism is, as you adroitly point out, very intuitive

There was quite a bit I did not initially understand how to do in Photos. Apple's Get started with Photos for OS X helped some with that but for a lot of it I had to browse through Photos Help. The learning process wasn't much different for iPhoto -- neither seemed very intuitive when I first started using them.

    Intuitive:

    1. Using or based on what one feels to be true even without conscious reasoning; instinctive:

You're entitled to your opinion and so am I.  The dialog box is too small to type in, uses a non-standard interface for acquiring email addresses and I've watched many people try to use it and fail.  That is, if they even find it in the first place.  If you're going to ask for email addresses a proper To: field would be more appropriate and intuitive than what is presented to the user in this case.  My opinion.  Didn't suggest you had to like it.
