Q: how do I send a ibook I bought to my little brother?

I bought a book for my brother to read for the summer. I am trying to send it to my dads i account but is not working. They are asking for him to pay for it again. I don't want them to pay for it. I already did.
When you say you bought a book, do you mean you purchased it on your account, or gifted it to someone with a different account? If the former, you can't transfer or give it to someone else. It is tied to your AppleID.
