Problem importing QuickTime movies

I create a presentation using Keynote ver. 6.5.3.

It includes 1100 x 732 px jpegs

I export it to QuickTime Player ver. 7.6.6: self-playing, 720p, and import it into the media widget of iBooks Author.

Very often I get anomalies like this rainbow band of colors over at least half of the screen, and that last just a few frames:

Has anyone had similar problems?
