Apple Script stopped working

URGENT:

I've been making some little applescripts to organize my contacts. I found a test script that changed the case of text, and was trying it out when my applescript editor froze. Now I can't get it to work. I force quit applescript, I've restarted my macbook a couple times. I've moved all my little scripts out of the folder in iDrive where I keep them. But it still, overtime I open the script editor, it pulls up the last script I was working on and is froze, just giving me the swirling cursor. Please help, thanks.

To clarify, its not a script that I try to run that causes AppleScript editor to freeze, I'm just opening the script editor. it is hung up every time I open it. Even after a reboot. do I need to reinstall the script editor somehow?

I got it working. I looked around and found a folder called com.apple.ScriptEditor2.savedState, and deleted the contents of it. Script Editor started right up, and I see it regenerated those files.
