Q: Apple Pay for Apple Watch via iPhone 5s
I have read and reread the instruction on how to set up Apple Pay for my Watch suing a 5S iPhone. I am at a loss however on how to do this - and kinda frustrated.
The instructions say select the "Passcode and Apple Pay" option in my settings for the Watch (within the Apple Watch app on my iPhone). When I try to do this I find I don't have a selection for "Passcode and Apple Pay", only "Passcode". I am unable to set up the Apple Pay feature as a result.
In the stuff that I read it said make sure that my region code for the iPhone was set to USA (which is where I live) but I discovered that my iPhone was set to Australia ... so I have changed this to USA ... but still no luck.
Anyone there know what to do next?

I think the Australia setting was your problem. Now that you've corrected that on the phone your best bet is probably to unpair the watch from the phone. When you do this a backup is created and when you go to pair it again you'll be given the option to restore from that backup. I think you might want to skip that and set it up as new. The Australia data may get reinstalled.
The Apple Pay setting should be there when paired with an iPhone 5 or higher. Normally I don't recommend unpairing the watch since it's a major step and you lose all your Apple Pay data. But since you don't have any anyway, not so bad in this case.
