What camera was it taken with? Whatr format was it recored in?

Then it appear to not be a Memory Stick. A memory Stick is Sony's proprietary storage media

Just copy the Word document to a USB drive. To read on a Mac you will need a compatible app. Apple's Pages can read Word format and can save in word format. Sometimes some fonts and formatting gets lost in the conversion.`
