Jun 18, 2015 11:25 PM in response to Frankisterby gail from maine,Charge it whenever it is convenient. No, you do not need to let it drain once a month. Plugging it into a charger does not affect the battery life. Here is some additional battery info:

Jun 18, 2015 11:26 PM in response to Frankisterby Kappy,You need not drain the battery or do anythings special as long as you use it both on and off the charger. You should recharge the battery once it drops below 20% as normal practice. Never drain the battery fully as that can damage it.
