Is there any way to gift a ringtone?

My girlfriend and I bought brand new iPhone 6's this week, and I'd like to gift her a ringtone of her favorite song. Unfortunately, searching for ringtones in iTunes isn't easy because there isn't a separate category for ringtones, and I'm not sure the song I'm gifting is a ringtone.

To be sure I was getting a ringtone, I went into my own iPhone and found a ringtone of the song, but there isn't any option to do so. The KB article says to choose the "Gift" button, but there isn't one for the ringtone I want to send. Can anyone help? Can someone from Apple actually answer this question, unlike the many others like it that have never been answered?
