Jun 19, 2015 1:30 AM in response to Aselly24by ZV137,RAM stands for random access memory - the memory that's used in your system. Most of the time if a RAM check fails it's the RAM itself, but once in a while it may be a system problem/failure. If you're lucky it will just be the RAM chips which can be easily replaced at a reasonable cost. I would suggest contacting Apple for more advice especially if the unit is still under warranty. The data on the drive should still be OK. If needed, meaning the system itself has problems, the drive can be taken out and put into an external enclosure and all data should be recoverable.
Good luck.

Jun 19, 2015 1:38 AM in response to ZV137by Aselly24,How much is to replace the RAM chip? For the RAM, does the MacBook Pro randomly stops functioning such as starts to beep out of nowhere or does it involve overcharging it? I'll ask this question to Apple when I contact them later today. Thank you for the help!
