FCP 7 Undo Blade Cut
Is there a way to un-blade 1 camera edit in the timeline other than cmd-z and killing all edits in the timeline? This is with FCP 7. Thanks

This only seems to work if you have only made 1 cut. After the initial cut the option is greyed out..

I am not sure I understand what you are saying. Can you rephrase that?
You select the cut you want to fix and fix that cut. Are you trying to do something else?

If you make multiple cuts and then go back to undo ONLY the last cut the 'join through edit' is greyed out. As in I cannot select it.
I am editing a multi clip and only cutting the video. The audio is not being cut or changed at all.
Also, I'm not using the blade tool. I am using the quick key to cut while the video continues to play. I can get the red arrows on the first cut (occasionally) but for the rest of the cuts I make there is no arrow and no option to merge the other cuts? Any clue??
Nope, you need to wait until someone familiar with multicam editing reads your post.

Thanks for all the help Meg. Hopefully someone will come along with the multi cam editing info soon 🙂
