Q: DNS no internet
Hi
So I've been having problems with my internet access for the past day now. I have full wifi service according to the icon, it says the wifi is connected and has an ip address. The signal is green. It's not working but other people accessing the same network are not having this problem. Google chrome is sending up a message that says 'dns probe finished no internet'. I tried Safari and Firefox and still nothing.
I looked at the DSN and I got a DNS number that I can't delete. I tried adding the DNS numbers (from my sister's computer who is on the same wifi network and it's working for her). Nothing. I tried deleting the network off preferred networks, restarting the computer, restarting the modem, etc. Nothing. I followed the instructions from here and still didn't work. Non-responsive DNS server or invalid DNS configuration can cause long delay before webpages load - Apple Support
I read somewhere that it could be malware Sendori but it's not on my computer. I checked.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
