Will resetting my apple keychain erase everything on it and if so is there a way I can get into my iCloud keychain without resetting it? I still have my phone that it is set up with and I could probably figure out the code for it, but it has not asked for it and only wants me to allow access to it from another device with it already enabled which I do not have.

OS X Mavericks: About your keychain password
If the keychain password does not match your login password, when you log in you must also enter a password to unlock the keychain.
If the login password was reset because the user forgot the old password, the keys, passwords, and other information in the keychain will not be accessible, and the user will need to create a new keychain.

I'm on Yosemite, I'm not sure if that's the issue, but it's not even asking for a password, I could probably figure out the password if it asked for it, the only two options it's giving me is to approve it from another device to let me use icloud keychain or reset it.

Frequently asked questions about iCloud Keychain - Apple Support
If you can't access any of your other devices that are using iCloud Keychain, you can still set up iCloud Keychain on another device if you have these items:
- Your iCloud Security Code
- The device that is using the SMS-capable phone number you provided when you first set up iCloud Keychain. A verification code is sent via SMS to this phone number. If you can't access this number, contact Apple Support, who can verify your identity, so that you can complete setup on your new device.

Thanks, yeah, I found that article before, I just can't find where it gives me the option to do that, like I said before it's only given me the option to reset or approve from another device.
