Q: will sms work with Jeep vehicles that have uconnect

I have a jeep wrangler and an iPhone 6plus.  I want to be notified when I receive text messages, or if possible be able to read them on my screen.  Has Jeep/Uconnect and Apple resolved the MAP issues?
