Open the Finder. From the menu bar top of your screen click Finder > Preferences then select the General tab.
Make sure: CDs, DVDs, and iPods is selected.
And check your settings in System Preferences then select: CDs & DVDs
1. Click on your desktop so that Finder is listed on the menu bar.
2. Click on Finder and open the Finder Preferences..
3. Select the General tab and make sure that the CDs, DVD, and iPods box is checked.
4. To show items in the Finder Sidebar... Select the Sidebar tab and check the CDs, DVDs and iPod box there as well.
I appreciate your response! I had, however, checked everything you suggested and it still doesn't work. I also cannot read camera memory cards. This is a problem as my livelihood depends on it.
Thanks!
Marilyn Olsen
