Q: Cannot connect to the TV through AirPlay using the YouTube app.I have an iPad Air (iOS 8). When pressing the AirPlay icon on the video, the screen on the led loads for a few seconds but then tells us to try again later. Please help me solve this prob

It sounds like your YouTube app seems to be able to start Airplaying to your Apple TV but then it stops and says to try later. I would start by quitting the YouTube and the Settings apps:

Force an app to close in iOS

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.

2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.

3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists then I would verify that the app supports Airplay:

Get help using AirPlay and AirPlay Mirroring on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you can't stream ... third-party content

 

 

You might not be able to stream videos if the app you're using doesn't support AirPlay video playback. Check the app's product page or website to see if the app works with AirPlay.
