Hide my phone number for outgoing calls

Not trying to stalk anyone here....

Is there a way on iphone 6 to hide your phone number when dialing out?

Back in 2011 the same question was posted here and while the solution was simple, I cannot get to the same destination on my "6".

Those directions were: settings->phone->show my caller ID->off.

Anyone know?

Thanks, Tony

Works the same way on my 6 Plus, Settings > Phone > Show My Caller ID > Show My Caller ID = On/Off

Are you saying you can't find that in Settings on your phone? Who is your carrier? If your carrier is a CDMA/LTE carrier such as Sprint or Verizon, you won't have that settings. You'll need to dial a short code ahead of the number to block your number. For Verizon, for example, it's *67. Consult your carrier for the specific code.
