Q: How do I delete all signs of Pandora App from iTunes (& iCloud?)

My Pandora App keeps freezing. I've already been through one round of troubleshooting with her that did not work. Now, after deleting it off my iPhone6 (this part was easy) now she wants to me to delete any remnants of it off iTunes (& iCloud?) through using my computer - which is a brand new Mac Book Pro with the latest iTunes & iCloud apps on it. I cannot figure out how to do this. Help!

(My searches so far have uncovered a lot of other people that are unable to do this on the newest iTunes too.)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), iOS 8.3, newest MacBook Pro Model

Mac's iTunes > Apps (top left) > drag the app to the trashcan.

I can't rap & drag any of the app icons anywhere.

OK. Asking "why" is not helpful. Obviously, either I am doing something wrong, or we are not in the exact same screens (which is a common theme on many of the other posts similar to mine.)

I have taken a screen grab, but it won't let me post it here.

Are you using the latest iTunes, 12.1?

Is there any instruction you can give to assure that we on the exact same screen with the exact same options, or on how to get there?

Are you suggesting that I select the app from a list down the left side of the screen? I have seen this suggested in other threads. I, like many of those people cannot figure out how to get this list. Are you on the latest iTunes 12.1?

I can click on the Apps symbol at the top left side of the iTunes screen (there are several symbols to select here, but they are side by side in the grey part of the screen. Then I can select Purchased at the bottom right of the screen. This brings up a whole screen of large icons of the apps I have purchased. I'm then able to select iPhone or iPad. However, I can do nothing with these icons (such as delete) other than reload the ones that have been deleted off the device.

How do I get the list down the left side? I think that is the secret to this all.

The list will appears when you connect Apple devices to computer iTunes.

That you don't need to do to delete app(s) from iTunes.

You can also go to the Purchased screen and click the X (to hide app) when you hover over .

I get no list at all. I can select iPhone or iPad at the top center of the screen, and it will show all Apps purchased for that device. However, the Apps are displayed at large icons that populate most of the main screen.

I do not want to hide the App. I must delete it.

Your purchased apps on iTunes can only be hidden.

Apple has obligation to the law.

You can only delete apps locally on your iTunes library which I already have given to you on how.

Do not plug in the device and do not select it in iTunes.

Click the Apps icon towards top left of iTunes window.

Are you losing patience with me just because I can't duplicate your instructions. I am sorry. I told you before, the app icons on that page cannot be selected, dragged or dropped. Are you using iTunes 12.1.2.27?

    Hi Chris,

    Thank you for the advice.

I have never plugged in any devices while I've been trying to do this.

If I open iTunes & click Apps, I get the App Store.

You should click My Apps instead (top centre, left tab).

I do not know what keeps going wrong. Either I am misunderstanding a simple nuance that you are expressing, or may be I have a setting that is different from yours. The only way I can see my apps is to select purchased, but when I do that the selection at the top changes from "my apps" to "app store", and also highlights iPhone.
