Q: How do I delete all signs of Pandora App from iTunes (& iCloud?)

My Pandora App keeps freezing. I've already been through one round of troubleshooting with her that did not work. Now, after deleting it off my iPhone6 (this part was easy) now she wants to me to delete any remnants of it off iTunes (& iCloud?) through using my computer - which is a brand new Mac Book Pro with the latest iTunes & iCloud apps on it. I cannot figure out how to do this. Help!

(My searches so far have uncovered a lot of other people that are unable to do this on the newest iTunes too.)

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), iOS 8.3, newest MacBook Pro Model

I've been trying to take a screen shot & paste what I get when I select those two, but it keeps rejecting my paste. I don't get any app icons.

Make an appointment with Apple genius and bring in your Mac for an evaluation.

    Because you don’t paste.

Click the camera icon at top of the Reply to box then select the screenshot.

Don't get all hung up on the wording. That is what I did.

I kept getting an error that it was the wrong file type or too big. Tried different file types and shrinking the picture, but still got the same error.

    Hi ckuan,

    New summary...

The Pandora was deleted from my iPhone & iPad weeks ago.

Today - I physically connected my iPhone to my Mac for the first time ever. I downloaded all the iPhone Apps to iTunes. I then synced my iPhone to iTunes on the Mac. I can now view the Apps on my iPhone & iPad in iTunes as you described. Pandora is not there under "My Apps", "My iPhone Apps" or "My iPad Apps". I also only see currently installed Apps in these windows. No uninstalled Apps appear at all.

I then went to System Preferences & deleted the Backups for the iPhone & iPad.

According to the instructions from the Pandora Support Person, I should now be able to download a new/fresh copy of Pandora onto my iPhone. I use my iPhone to open Apps Store and view the Pandora App. It still has the "cloud symbol" on it, indicating that this not a fresh version of the App, but is the same copy I had freezing problems with.

Note - While in iTunes, I select App Store at the the top of the screen, then there are a few choices down lower right, including "purchased". If I select that I am able to view all Apps I ever purchased, as well as Pandora w/ the cloud symbol, yet I cannot touch/edit any of the Apps (i.e., all are read-only/view-only), so I cannot delete the Pandora App from there.

    Any new ideas?

    Thanks,

    Chris

Okay. But if you write words of something you didn’t do, how are we to know?

The cloud symbol means that you have already purchased it or downloaded (if it was free).

It is the Pandora app in iCloud, which means it is in the iTunes store, You cannot delete items in the iTunes store.

Either download it in iTunes then sync it to your iDevice or open the App store on your iDevice and download it.
