Cisco VPN stopped working ... not sure why, can't get it back

Macbook running 10.9, I was using Cisco VPN just fine 2 days ago. Then yesterday I got this error:

The VPN client was unable to modify the IP forwarding table. A VPN connection will not be established.

I ran Disk Utility / fixed permissions maybe 4 times. Restarted a bunch of times. Even tried doing the sudo on terminal thing but, following step by step, I noticed the instructions and what I saw on screen didn't jived so I got out of there.

Most of the articles on troubleshooting are PC specific. I can't figure out how to get this thing working again. I even went so far as to install a 2nd vpn to see if that would ok, you know sneak it in. It kind of worked. Works. But it's not as good as Cisco. I'd like to get back to using that again but am losing my mind trying to find a way to get it to work. Anyone with any Mac-specific ideas? Thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

Figured it out. Maybe this can help someone else with the same problem.

Went to Open Network Preferences > Created a new wifi network.

Even though the existing wifi network looked like it was working fine, I'm guessing it wasn't.

Used the same login credentials to access my network, saved it. And Cisco started working fine.
