how to change keychain access password

hello. i have an issue with my mac. i recently had to have new optical and hard drive installed on an 24" imac. the tech guys installed os x 10.6.8 instead of 10.10.3. i need to change the keychain access password as i've forgotten the original one. can someone help me?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

The Keychain's password is the same as the password set for the user's admin account. Whatever your keychain was before it is now gone. It was replaced when Snow Leopard was installed on the new drive.
