Q: Old Website showing online

Hi

I have not used iweb for a long time and my domain was moved to a new site on BlueHost. Yesteday I found an old url with the same domain (but different suffix) showingup online.  http://www.njwight.com/site/Welcome.html  This is from the old iweb site that I thought was gone. How can I get rid of it...or that the very least, redirect it to njwight.com  http://www.njwight.com/   I tired a re-direct plug in but that did not work.  I have no files for this website...and not sure I could even reinstall iweb on 10.10.3   Where is this old site being served from?

Any help welcome.

thanks

NJ

    Where is this old site being served from?

    From your webserver?

    Go to your server (with FTP) and remove the site folder. It's probably next to the about folder :

    http://www.njwight.com/about/

    http://www.njwight.com/site/

    Wydor-these files do not exsist on the Bluehost server where the current njwight.com is hosted. This has already been verified. They must exisit wherever Apple hosted them...old mobile me servers...

    Thanks

    Apple does not host webpages. Mobileme was cancelled a few years ago.

    And if they were in the Apple server, you had to enable Personal Domain to see them with your own domainname, instead of the mobile.me/username.

    And you could not see you current host if that was the case.

    Checked here : http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php

    The index.html on the site folder file gives this header :

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK =>

    Date => Sun, 21 Jun 2015 16:50:46 GMT

    Content-Type => text/html

    Connection => close

    Vary => Accept-Encoding,User-Agent

    Last-Modified => Sat, 28 Apr 2012 17:20:35 GMT

    Server => cloudflare-nginx

    CF-RAY => 1fa136dfab7107eb-LAX

    The about page gives this header :

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK =>

    Date => Sun, 21 Jun 2015 16:52:11 GMT

    Content-Type => text/html

    Connection => close

    Vary => Accept-Encoding,User-Agent

    Last-Modified => Thu, 01 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT

    Server => cloudflare-nginx

    CF-RAY => 1fa138f3d2a70d6d-LAX

    Both appear to be on the same server.

    It occurs to me that you may be using a proxy.

    Here's how it works :

    http://responsive.2kool4u.net/tech/proxy/

    I use it on my own server.

    So when you moved to a new host, they configered the server to display the iWeb pages on the old server. Perhaps you can remember who that was.

    BTW, isn't Cloudflare a service that caches webpages and guards against DDos attacks? Contact them and ask if they do so.

    I am truly baffled. I have never used cloudflare. Ever. Never heard of them until now. So...not sure why the pages are hosted there. I always used a personal domain when I was using iweb and mobileme...

    Not sure what to do at this point... thanks for your insights thought. :-)
