Feb 10, 2016 8:30 PM in response to mikeinoleanby jsrq,OK here it is, all I needed was step 1 Re: Safari Web Content not responding - Yosemite. I don't have flash installed so I didn't even need that part. This is the only part I needed to do:
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.Safari
Caches/com.apple.Safari.SearchHelper
Caches/com.apple.SafariServices
Caches/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess
Caches/com.apple.WebProcess
Caches/Metadata/Safari
Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginHost.plist
Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess.plist
Saved Application State/com.apple.Safari.savedState
Leave the Library folder open. Try Safari again. If the problem is solved, stop here. Close the Library folder.

Aug 16, 2016 12:45 AM in response to mikeinoleanby sealox,Hi
I was just wondering if you ever found a solution to the problem with your wifes Macbook Air.
I have exactly the same problem you describe and am now onto my 3rd replacement to no avail. All other Apple devices work perfectly well at home so not a router issue. Apple don't seem to be able to help despite hours and hours on phone and in repair. Am thinking of asking for refund and buying a different brand.
Would appreciate any advice.
