Jun 21, 2015 10:19 AM in response to dantheman0316by gail from maine,No, with iCloud Drive, everything is stored in the Cloud and accessible to all of your devices running iOS 8 or any Mac running Yosemite. You then have the option to selectively download what you want locally stored on your device or Mac.

Jun 21, 2015 11:49 AM in response to gail from maineby dantheman0316,Thanks for the reply. How do I selectively download what I want locally to my hard drive? I don't see any options for that when I right-click on individual files in my iCloud drive.

Jun 21, 2015 12:10 PM in response to dantheman0316by léonie,If you enable iCloud Drive on your Mac, and it showing as a drive in your Finder, all files on iCloud Drive are mirrored locally on your Mac. They have shadow copies in your user library and are backed up by Time Machine, if you are running Time Machine. There is no need to copy them to your Mac.
