Yosemite has ruined my MacBook and I need to get rid of it. Where can I download Mavericks and how can I throw out Yosemite?

I have followed a lot of instructions to Restart, Partition, etc but none have offered to reinstall anything, only Yosemite. I have cleaned out my MacBook

and just need to get a good system, 10.9 (Mavericks).

It's been a long, frustrating period of fighting with Yosemite but I didn't know

what the problem was until yesterday. Now I can't wait to get a good computer again.

Appreciate your help. Bear in mind there is no other system in my computer but Yosemite.

Thanks

If you never "purchased" Mavericks before it is not available to you.

You can go to Yosemeite, Elcapitan or you can purchase about $20 Lion or Mountain ion.

After you download the install you make a bootable USB media with

http://liondiskmaker.com/

Then boot form that and format the stratup disk and install.

Tried to buy Mtn Lion but Apple won't sell it to a Canadian!

I did have Mavericks but it's not there now. And Apple ensures you can't get it again. Not a nice company. Once Yosemite got into my computer it was like a disease and it destroyed everything.

The Chat Line tells me I can't go back. But I think I can: throw out Yosemite and install a CD like Mtn Lion.

Someone in this organization must have the decency to fix the mess they created and they should readily sell, or do the right thing and give me a CD that will offer a clean system to use every day.

Did you "purchase" Mavericks before?

If so it should be listd in the Purchases section of the Mac App Store. All my previously purchased OSX upgrades are.

Do any purchases shot up?

Is the Mac App Store signed into the account that purchased them?

There is no CD/DVD for Lion and later. They are all just downloads. Some original Macs that came with Lion came with a USB drive with the Lion installer.
