Hi, I was wondering if my MacBook Pro mid 2012 i7 can receive 16 GB of RAM upgrade? I want to make an RAM upgrade but I read somewhere that my macbook can recevi max 8 GB of RAM

If it's not a retina model, it can. If it is a retina model, the RAM isn't upgradable.

It's not a retina model, and I already have 8 GB on my mac, but I red here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT1270 and it says that the max ram is 8 GB. 16GB of RAM is not cheap so I don't want to buy it before I'm sure that it's ok.
It is; Apple doesn't update its specifications when higher capacity RAM becomes available.
