How to fix red exclamation for 'Contact'

There seems to be no way beyond it. I have my Bank of America Visa Debit setup. I can use it just fine for payments using NFC.

However, when I was trying to use it within the Best Buy App, it always fails with a Red Exclamation next to 'Contact'.

It has my correct phone number and email id, and I seem to find no way to get beyond this problem. I deleted the contact details and choose it again from my Address book to no avail.

My Billing and Shipping are also setup, and correct. Apple Pay doesn't seem to complain about those details.


Anyone having similar experience?

I came on here to specifically post the same issue! I tried to do an instore pick up on an item on June 18 and everything went well until I scanned my thumb. It would fail and do exactly as you said. I double checked everything and all my information was correct and still got the same issue and I even tried different cards. I emailed Best Buy with the problem to see if they had run into that issue before and all I got was "we're sorry you're having issues, please contact Apple".


It works just fine for me when I go to stores and use NFC. I also reload my Starbucks card using ApplePay and I haven't once had an issue with it.
