Q: How to stop the "stop sharing my location" message EVERY time I delete messages

EVERY time I delete a message from the text messages sent by my wife ( with whom I do share my location), I get the same "do you want to stop sharing your location" message.

How the **** does one turn off the message?!?  No, I don't want to stop sharing.  I just want to delete the message!  And I don't want to answer the same friggin' question EVERY TIME. image.jpg

I had the same issue and solved it by removing my wife from the list of those I share my location with in the Find Friends app, deleting the iMessgae message from her, and then sharing my location again with her in Find Friends. Now when I delete iMessage messages from her, I no longer am asked whether I want to stop sharing my location with her yet I still share it with her in Find Friends.

My situation was complicated by the fact that I had locked Share My Location and Location Services to "Don't Allow Changes" under General | Restrictions. I had to turn off restrictions and change both to "Allow Changes" before doing the steps above.  Once fixed, I changed back to "Don't Allow Changes" and enabled restrictions again so no one can stop my phone from broadcasting its location if they steal it...unless they power off the phone, that is.
