I changed my apple id email and now i can’t sign out of iCloud in system preferences.

After changing my apple id email address i can’t log out of iCloud in system preferences because the email does not exist anymore. I can’t sign in with the new iCloud address because it won’t let me sign out.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Hi DanVicario7,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you edited your Apple ID to a new email address and now cannot sign out of iCloud on your computer. In this situation, you will need to temporarily edit your Apple ID back to your old email address to sign out. There is no need to verify the account or change the password when you edit the account back to the previous Apple ID.

After signing out of iCloud on your computer, and any other Apple products you own that use iCloud, you can edit the Apple ID back to the new email address and sign back into iCloud on your device(s). Please read over the attached article for more information on the process.
