I'm at such a loss I created a profile specifically for this problem.
I've searched high and low and cannot find a solution, so please stay with me.
My IPod is a 4th Gen, and it's worked great for about 2 1/2 years. Well, a few days ago, after I switched the screen on and off real quick to check the time, the on/off button decided to stay stuck in the down position. About 30 minutes later the Apps stopped responding.
Now, I need a hard restart to solve the app problem, but I can't do that without an on/off switch.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide! Feel free to ask for more details if need be. (I tried chatting with consultants, but my contract ran out about six months ago.)
