Thunderbolt display & Photoshop

When I open an image in PS on my display screen it flickers really badly and won't display until I move the image. Its brand new out of the box this morning. I open the image like i would if I was using my iMac and its perfectly fine but when I open it and have ps displayed on the thunderbolt display it comes up looking like a corrupt file and flickers like crazy.

Any help greatly appreciated.
