My daughter and I shared an icloud id on two different devices. However she is able to see my pictures on her iphone and I can see hers on my iphone. How do I make sure that we are unable to see each others pictures and still share an icloud id??
I don't think I'm understanding the photo sharing and photo stream completely and that's where I'm running into these problems with my settings.

The problem here is that you're sharing an Apple ID. You both really need your own. If you're sharing so that you can share purchased content, you'll still be able to do that with Family Sharing.
