Why can't I empty 'bulging' trash
What ever try, I cannot empty my trash and it is so huge that I wonder if this is the problem??

Trash – Can’t Empty or Move File To Trash
Trash contains folders of recovered files - Yosemite
Trash – Empty When File is Locked or in Use
Try holding down the option button while trying to delete the Trash. If that doesn’t work, here is some more information.
