How do I reconfigure settings for speaker volume, screen resolution, startup disk selection, and time zone information, please?

After reading the guide on how to reset the NVRAM/PRAM, I have successfully managed to start my computer again. Now, I want to perform the reconfiguration that they suggest but I have no idea how to do it. Any help is very welcomed! Thanks
