Jun 22, 2015 8:24 AM in response to AndreaTDby Loner T,Are you able to create a user account and set a password and name the Windows installation? There should be about 4-5 reboots, including a reboot for installing Apple Bootcamp Drivers.

Jun 22, 2015 8:31 AM in response to Loner Tby AndreaTD,Hello Loner T,
Thank for replying. I didn't do anything like that. It never asked me for anything, it just reboot a few times and the language window showed up.

Jun 22, 2015 9:05 AM in response to AndreaTDby Loner T,Are you able to select the Language and the Time Zone and continue to the next screen?
-
Jun 22, 2015 9:10 AM in response to Loner Tby AndreaTD,Yes, I selected the language..., then it gave me a list of Windows and I selected the first option for Windows 8. The program started its installation, and all was good (green check marks), but before the last step: Finalizing, it restarted and then the language window showed up again.

Jun 22, 2015 9:20 AM in response to AndreaTDby Loner T,If you continue, does it finish installing Windows and let you create a user account? If it does not, and keeps looping to "Finalizing...", it is likely that the source DVD/ISO used for Windows installation is corrupted.
There should be set of logs as shown
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//inf/setupapi.app.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//inf/setupapi.dev.20141212_221741.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//inf/setupapi.dev.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//inf/setupapi.offline.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Logs/DPX/setupact.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Logs/DPX/setuperr.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Panther/setupact.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Panther/setuperr.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Panther/UnattendGC/setupact.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//Panther/UnattendGC/setuperr.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//setupact.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//setuperr.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//System32/sysprep/Panther/IE/setupact.log
/Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows//System32/sysprep/Panther/IE/setuperr.log
If you can find the highlighted logs in your Bootcamp volume, I suggest checking them. The logs have personally identifiable information which you should not post on a public forum.

Jun 22, 2015 9:25 AM in response to Loner Tby AndreaTD,So, should I find those logs in my Bootcamp assistant? and how I do that? Sorry, not too much knowledge about programs. Thanks

Jun 22, 2015 9:29 AM in response to AndreaTDby AndreaTD,Also, I installed Windows 8 using that CD into another laptop (no Mac) and it worked, could it be still corrupted though? I mean, I was thinking that if it worked in a regular HP laptop, it should be working in my Mac too but maybe I am wrong. What do you think?

Jun 22, 2015 9:47 AM in response to AndreaTDby Loner T,Your install media seems to be fine.
The logs can be accessed using Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal or Applications -> Utilities -> Console application. Here is an example with the Console application.
Once Console application is running, click on the File -> Open and navigate to /Volumes/BOOTCAMP/Windows/Panther (my screen shot uses /Volumes/rMBPBCMP/Windows/Panther).

Do you have a screen shot of this sequence? Does your Installer have multiple Windows versions?

Jun 22, 2015 12:05 PM in response to Loner Tby AndreaTD,When I was trying to install Windows 8 one of the windows gave me different versions. I will do a screen shot of all the sequence tonight and I will attached here, so if you have some time, you could take a look tomorrow. Thanks for your time and help. Regards, Andrea
