iCloud photo library update problems

I have imported a number of photo's to my Macbook. I then created a shared album where I uploaded 45+ photo's to. The album got created, but no pictures got moved. When I go to preferences I can see a not under iCloud stating "uploading 48 items" - that has now been there for more than 24 hours - no movement.

When I exit photo's and re-enter, then 1 of 3 times, then I get a message asking for starting "iCloud sharing", and then the next prompt asking me to go to settings and log into iCloud. the thing is.... I'm logged into iCloud, and I can see the imported photo's on my other devises (Ipad), but when I log onto iCloud from safari, then I see less pictures on my iCloud photo's there compared to on my Macbook.

Anyone who can help with this?
