My phone is running low on space. I know that most of it is taken up by this one group chat I am in. So if I delete this group chat will I still receive messages from it. I still want to be in the group chat but I want to clear up my phone a bit.

But in iOS 11 if someone likes or reacts to something on the deleted message you get a notification that you can't get rid of because the message doesn't reapear as it did in iOS 10 (as a blank message).
