Horizontal lines on Apple 20" Cinema Display

Hi, I use an Apple 20" Cinema Display with my MacBook Pro 13inch, please see below for the system details. The display is connected via the DVI adapter. It has worked well since I bought the display second hand last year. I turned on the MacBook and display one day and found the display had a series of horizontal lines, and was not as bright as it had been. Please see the image.

I can't find an obvious way to try and fix the issue. Does anyone know what is causing it and whether there is a way to fix it?

Thanks, Bill

Hello billbevan01,

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the screen has horizontal lines running across it. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
