Why does Apple make inserting photos into email so cumbersome?

Why does Apple make the insertion/attachment of a number of photos into Mac email so cumbersome?

Microsoft Outlook is made so much easier


Its so head scratching that Apple exists in such a vacuum that exceedingly basic features that have been available in Outlook for over a decade are still not available for mail.

Remember Apple, Microsoft was also once the biggest publicly listed company & look how far they have fallen. No one's immune

You can if you do it from the Photos app....


And you are correct - trying to find a photo by clicking on the paperclip makes it next to impossible to find the photo you want.


However, if you click on the little double box, it will bring up your photo libraries:

This is the little box that will come up on the left-side of the email window when you select that:
