Guided access screen mark

In order to remove the screen mark:

1. Triple click the home button to enable/disable Guided Access.
2. At this point, you should see the shape on the screen, and there will be a small x on the mark. Tap the x to delete the mark.
3. Done. 🙂

Guided access screen mark show that your child can use ipad in easy way

Following these steps you can Enable properly guided access screen mark

• Click on Settings from your main iPad home screen.
• Select "General" and then hit "Accessibility."
• Scroll down and select "Guided Access."
• Turn Guided Access by hitting the button
• Enter a passcode that you'll want to use to exit Guided Access mode

Now if you want to disable it follow these steps properly

• Click the Home button three times in quick succession to exit Guided Access mode.
• Enter your passcode when prompted.
• Change the settings or exit Guided Access.

It sounds like the screen mask where you disable parts of the screen. Are there four small dots (handels) you can use to control the size of the mark ? If so pusk all the dots together then tap them. I tried to get a screen shot but it wouldn't copy.

Below is the section from the User Guide that I think you need.

“Disable app controls and areas of the app screen: Draw a circle or rectangle around any part of the screen you want to disable. Drag the mask into position or use the handles to adjust it’s size.”

This may be almost two years later but the same thing showed up on a work tablet. Who knows how it got set but this fixed it! Thank you and for the link to the help.
