Q: How To Zoom On A Slide While Presenting - Keynote on iPad

While presenting a KeyNote presentation using an iPad, how can I zoom on a slide? Any pinch gesture will take me out of presentation mode and into editing mode. That seems like a very lousy way to allow users to get out of presentation mode. Pinch has always meant zoom!

I'd really like to:

A.) Be able to zoom in on a slide while presenting

B.) Prevent KeyNote from jumping out of presentation mode via a pinch gesture

Has anyone been able to find workarounds for this?

iPad 2, iOS 8.3

The pinch motions is not the zoom.

Moving your fingers together is the zoom out, or close the presentation.

Moving your fingers apart is the zoom.

    Best of luck

Too be more specific, "pinch-in" and "pinch-out", have always been used for zooming in and out. I still can't believe Apple developers strayed from their own recommended gesture UI and did this! While in presentation mode using KeyNote in an iPad, I can't find a way to zoom an image. Even if I could use the "pinch-out" to enlarge the image, as soon as I "pinched-in" it would close the presentation. If I'm not understanding your work-around please work me through it as I can't get it too work.

    Still need help!
