Ok here is my situation. I have 3 camera setups. Each camera has their own set of mov files. Anywhere from 5 to 9 files for each. I need to break them down into 3 files Left Right and Center. What is the best/fastest way to combine each one into L R C so I can add them to FCP 7 to perform a multi clip.. Thanks!

Also i used Quicktime Player.. Combined all the CNTR files into one. It took about 2 hours to complete the job but did break down the files to under 8 GB but also resolution went from 1920x1080 to 1888x1062 once completed. Is there a better/faster way to complete this task?
String them together in a sequence in FCP...then export a self contained QT FILE...reimport that. New master!
So just upload each file, then highlight all files, milt clip sequence then export as QT movie? Did I understand that correctly?
No. Import the media into FCP...converting it to ProRes if you haven't already. Meaning if these are camera masters, LOG AND TRANSFER them to ProRes. Then, put them in a new sequence (making sure the sequence you make matches the ProRes format of the clips)...string time out one after the other. Then mark IN and OUT on that sequence, and go FILE>EXPORT>QUICKTIME MOVIE. Use sequence settings, don't recompress. Then, reimport that file and use that as a master.
I think I got ya now. Maybe.. So these steps would really need to be done right off there SD cards..
Here is a screen shot of my original unedited files. I need to get these into 1 CNTR 1 LEFT and 1 RITE. I have already transferred them from the SD cards to the computer. When I tried log and transfer it said there were no files it could transfer. Is that because they would need to come straight off the SD card?
