You would need either a USB-C to USB adapter (which Apple sells) and a USB to Ethernet adapter (from Apple or a third party), or else a direct USB-C to Ethernet adapter, of which there's at least one on the market. Be sure to test any such solution before leaving on your trip.

I Can confirm that it does work. I have an apple usb c to us but adapter and I bought an apple usb Ethernet adapter and it did work. initially it did show not connected but once I click renew DHCP it worked
