Mi girlfriend and I bought the new Apple watch, when I send a sketch to her she gets it but when she sends it to me I don't, how can I fix that?

Turn your watch off and back on. If this does not help, press and hold the side button and the Digital Crown for 10 seconds or more, until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

This is really frustrating. I have this issue, too. Resetting and instructions from other threads don't seem to be working.

I just dropped $750 on watches for both of us and we can't even use the main feature for communication.

What can you do with the watch when your iPhone isn’t near?

When it’s away from the phone, the watch does a surprising amount. You can:

• Play music wirelessly through Bluetooth earphones (it holds up to two gigabytes of songs that you choose)
• Display photos you’ve loaded up from the phone (it holds up to 75 megabytes of tiny photos)

• Use Siri (if you’re on a Wi-Fi network you’ve been on before)
• Send and receive text messages and Watch-to-Watch “digital touch” messages (drawings and tap patterns) if you’re on a familiar Wi-Fi network
• Read, delete or flag recent email
• Use the alarm clock, stopwatch, and timer
• Use Passbook to show your airplane boarding-pass barcodes
• Pay for things with Apple Pay

I had this same exact problem.

I fixed it by turning off iMessage in the iPhone that received the sketches but didn't sent them. First I unchecked every email address that iMessage could use, leaving only the pone number able to send iMessages.

Turn iMessage on again and verify that the phone number is the only one that can send and receive iMessages.

Delete the prior conversation with the recipient in the iPhone that couldn't send sketches.

Send a couple of iMessages from the iPhone that could't send sketches. Ask for the recipient to answer a message.

It should work now. Both Apple Watches should be able to send sketches.
