How to find out iPhone model?

Hey,

I am having trouble identifying my iPhone model. I've looked on the back of it and it says the model is A1533, which (according to Apple's site) is a CDMA iPhone. However, I am pretty sure I have a different model. I remember downloading iOS 8.1 for a "global GSM" iPhone 5S.

My suspicions are increased due to other factors as well: I bought this iPhone unlocked in the US, and I am now using it in Europe, so I am sure this is a unlocked type of GSM.

Someone please elaborate. Thanks in advance.

Type in the serial number found in

Settings > General > About > Serial Number

I have already checked that page, but I am not sure if it is correct. It says my iPhone is CDMA. Is that the same as global?

Well that's official support document.

Your iPhone is CDMA, it also has GSM for use in countries that uses GSM network.

Go into your iPhone, Settings > General > About > Model and post that model here. I am guessing it is going to be a US Verizon model ME341LL/A, an iPhone 5s. Those phones had the GSM side unlocked as an agreement with the FCC and do have more LTE bands so they will work with more carriers.
